November’s BEAVER MOON
“We call on the power of the beaver to give us perseverance to keep going and the wisdom to know the most efficient ways to do so during this month.”—Shanti
November’s full moon is named after the beaver because the Native Americans noticed that every year this full moon occurred when the beavers were most active.
The beaver spirit animal is a symbol of diligent persistence and hard work to make your dreams come true. And seeing as this full moon is in the beginning of winter, it is a reminder that there is more to do to prepare. Calling in the beaver can assist you in going the distance and completing what you need to complete.
Ways to Connect with The Beaver Moon
-
Gather
Gather a pen and paper, fiery herbs or essential oils and orange candle. Write down on paper what you are asking for support in completing:”I call in divine support now as I complete ___ and am willing to be assisted in this efficiently and for the highest good of all involved.” Then feel and meditated on that which you just activated.
-
Receive
Throw your hands up and envision a tube of white light coming down from the moon into the top of your head and lighting up your paper with the intentions written on it. Fold the paper three times.
-
Seal It
Take an orange candle and put essential oils such as cedar wood or rosemary on the outside. Light the candle and use the wax to seal the three-folded intentions. Then place this in the light of the moon over night. You may burn it in your next fire ceremony or bury it after it is charged.
